Recommended Treatment for Hyperhidrosis
Excessive sweating is a condition called hyperhidrosis and it can affect the underarms, the palms of the hands and the feet. Patients can also get it on the face.
The Dr Yusra Clinic offersa treatment known as Botulinum toxin type A (Botox), which is an injectable treatment which stops the sweat gland from producing excess sweat. It is a treatment that is licensed for use and it lasts approximately 6 months.
There are fee side effects, however, in the hands, it could include temporary weakness.

Having the Botox in my underarms changed my life!
I remember complaining to you about how much I sweat when I didn’t want to lift my arms on your chair and you told me about the use of Botox to reduce sweating – something I would have never even known about! I can honestly say that having the Botox in my underarms changed my life!! It was the best decision I have ever made it’s allowed me to stop carrying extra clothes with me or constantly using deodorant or sticking tissues in my underarms to stop sweating. You cannot begin to imagine what a relief it is and how much my social life changed since then. I can wear nice clothes without worrying that I’ll get sweat patches all over them and I can hug my friends and walk near people without thinking they are looking at me with disgust. You done such a wonderful job and again you explained it all so well to me I rarely see practitioners take the time to reassure the way you do.
I am so grateful to you and hope that you never stop what you’re doing because I don’t think I could trust anyone as much as you to have my wellbeing as a priority and to do such a wonderful job.
