Non surgical rhinoplasty – nose job
WHAT IS A MEDICAL NON SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY /
NON SURGICAL NOSE JOB
HOW IT WORKS
The medical rhinoplasty (nose job) is an alternative to a surgical rhinoplasty where we use long lasting dermal fillers injected in strategic points in the nose to straighten the nose, correct deformities, irregularities or bumps on the nose, and lift the tip of the nose and define it. It is particularly great for bumps on the bridge of the nose or a downward drooping tip, and a great alternative to costly surgery and has no to minimal downtime. It takes minutes to do, with instant results meaning you can walk straight out of the clinic and back to your normal daily activities.
The dermal filler is natural and non animal based, and feels natural in your tissues. The results last on average 12-18 months whereby the filler is naturally broken down slowly over time and your nose returns to its original shape.
If you compare this to a normal nose job, where you go through a surgical procedure and would often need to stay the night at the hospital / clinic and then with bandages around your nose and face for several days or weeks, by getting a non surgical nose job with Dr. Yusra you will be up and running again straight away, the only thing people will notice is how beautiful your nose is now.
HOW IS THE TREATMENT ADMINISTERED
So no need to take days off for the surgical nose job and then have many days or weeks with bandages on your face while you wait for your nose to heal after your nose job. This non surgical nose job is instans and will give you a great and beautiful nose immediately.
Approx 12 months
£575 – £695 depending on complexity and filler type used
How long does it take?
The cost of the procedure is from £595 and will depend on complexity of the nose and the type of dermal filler we use- do note the cost is less at the Liverpool clinic and stated on the prices page. We stock a range of fillers and usually use Teoxane Ultradeep or Juvederm Voluma for this treatment though it depends on the nose shape and desired outcome. Dr Yusra will choose the right filler for you.
You can immediately return to your normal daily activities with no or little sign that you have had anything done! Aftercare includes avoiding touching the nose or wearing make up for 12 hours and avoiding wearing glasses or sunglasses for 1 week whilst the gel sets. Avoid sunbathing, sauna or steam rooms for 2 weeks after and lasers or facials. Any bruising that appears, though this is rare and usually very mild, can be covered with concealer after 12 hours. We also advise avoiding dental treatment for 2 weeks post treatment and avoiding heavy exercise for this period as well. 1 in 10 patients may need to return for a top up after the 4 week mark depending on the nose and tissue type to touch up the nose once the swelling dissipates. This is included in the treatment cost and is free of charge if needed.
Is it safe?
Yes it is but this is a complex area and an advanced procedure with risks involved. These are discussed in depth with you at your appointment before proceeding. Risks of complications are low and our internal audit demonstrates incredible success rates with no serious complications, though complications can happen even in the most astute of hands. Some minimal bruising and swelling is not uncommon, though the extent is significantly less than any surgical procedure. Dermal fillers are made of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid which is dissolvable and reversible, though this is rarely ever required.
