How does skinade work?

skinade is a drink that works from the inside out. Its six active ingredients work synergistically to promote optimal skin function. As a liquid supplement, its innovative formulation is highly bio-available, meaning that the body can absorb and make use of a higher proportion of the active nutrients. skinade active ingredients are 100% in solution allowing for an absorption rate of 95%.

The class-leading, 2kDal patented hydrolysed marine collagen peptides used in skinade trigger fibroblast proliferation (firing up our natural collagen production) leading to increased skin thickness and therefore a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. The hydrolysed marine collagen peptides also trigger the HAS2 receptors in the dermis which promotes the production of hyaluronic acid resulting in improved skin hydration.

This dual action makes skinade a highly effective skincare product.

Side Effects

You may experience a mild laxative detoxifying effect for one or two days when you start drinking the formula. A very small percentage of people taking Vitamin B3 (Niacin) may experience a short-term red flush and/or tingling sensation in the skin that can last around 20 to 60 minutes. This is known as a “Niacin Flush” and is not an allergic reaction. Niacin dilates the small capillaries in the skin increasing blood flow and thus delivering nutrients to areas of poor circulation. Taking Skinade after food minimises the effect, or you can sip the bottle over the course of the day.

I have been using Skinade for quite a few months now and it gives me some extra energy mid-afternoon which is when I take mine.

I pop it in my handbag, I never actually put it in the fridge at work and it stays cool, I know if I am trying to watch what I eat that I have something that will give me an energy lift without reaching for something filled with sugar. My face had the first signs of ageing as I am on my way to being 40 and my lines have definitely become less obvious, they aren’t as deep as they were and my skin is in overall better condition. I like the taste of the skin aide and I know it has vitamins and is doing me good in a variety of ways, so it is a much better option than reaching for other drinks. I keep a few hours between the Skinade and my coffee as coffee stops the absorption of most things so as long as you time it right you will feel the benefit. If you can work in some exercise into your routine and try to eat well most of the time this product at only 30 calories so will support you with your over all health goals. I recommend it to anyone on the go who wants to do as much as they can to work with the ageing process as you do need more than products to go on your face in my view, this is backed by science and will boost your usual routine. The worst thing about it though is that I have told my husband way too much and he now steals them from the fridge so I end up having to buy twice as much so just try it and then keep it to yourself!

To consume the same level of essential nutrients and collagen peptides you would have to take at least 20 large tablets. Collagen tablets are more difficult to ingest and assimilate into the body and are only partially absorbed.

The collagen and essential ingredients in skinade are in liquid formulation and 90% to 95% are absorbed by the body, while tablets offer an absorption rate of only 30% to 40%.

The liquid formula in skinade offers a huge advantage in terms of absorption rates. skinade functions isotonically ensuring that our collagen peptides and essential micro-nutrients achieve an absorption rate of 90-95% – A level that can never be matched by tablets, or powders suspended in solution.

Drink 1 bottle/sachet per day.

For skinade to be effective, it needs to become part of your skincare regime. For best results, we recommend that you drink one bottle each morning before or with breakfast. We would advise avoiding caffeine 1hr each side of taking skinade as caffeine can hinder the absorption of the essential micro-nutrients and collagen. September 2023: I’ve been going to Dr Yusra’s clinic for the last nine months and can honestly say the change in my skin is so apparent that people on Teams calls at work tell me I’m glowing. Dr Lauren has been doing my skin treatments since May with Co2 laser (following secret pro with Olivia) and 3 rounds of subcision with skin boosters. Dr Lauren takes time to explain the science behind the treatments before we do them so I have a realistic idea of the healing and results process. Dr Yusra is also always on hand for any queries too and as soon as you enter the Liverpool clinic, you’re given such a warm and friendly greeting by the team. Despite it being far from me, it is without a doubt worth the drive to get high quality results. Update: I've had two sessions of SecretPro with Olivia and can see a huge difference in my skin so far. I had 3 areas of Botox as well as masseter Botox with Dr Emily and she is so lovely, listens to any queries you have (even if you think it’s a silly question) and puts you at ease through your procedure. I have a lot of pain in my jaw when eating and grinding my teeth in my sleep, Dr Emily was able to talk me through the procedure for helping this and since having masseter Botox I haven’t had pain while eating and there’s no pain when I wake up. Would definite recommend the clinic and Dr Emily.

Me and my sister have recently had 2 treatments with the lovely Holly who is one of the skin therapists at the clinic, and we loved getting our treatments by her!! she was fantastic and stayed so professional and caring through out the treatments.. and quickly put us at ease as we were abit nervous to begin with! I have had treatments from Dr Yusra and team over the past few years and despite having to travel quite a distance for this clinic it is 10000% worth the journey. They are careful and expert in the treatments they deliver, and I always feel in safe hands.
