What is Coolsculpting®?
CoolSculpting® fat-freezing procedure is the only FDA-cleared, non-surgical fat reduction or liposuction treatment that uses controlled cooling to reduce stubborn fat that resists diet and exercise. The results are proven, noticeable and long lasting—so you’ll look great from every angle after your non surgical liposuction.
CoolSculpting® is a form of non surgical liposuction, fat reduction or fat freezing. The treatment delivers precisely controlled cooling to fat cells underneath the skin, causing the cells to crystallise and undergo natural apoptosis. Over time, your body naturally processes and reduces the number of fat cells, leaving you with a more sculpted physique.
How does Fat Freezing / Fat Reduction work?
The CoolSculpting® procedure delivers precisely controlled cooling to target the fat cells underneath the skin. Treated fat cells are crystallised (frozen), destroyed, and over time your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. The result? A more sculpted you.
Side Effects
CoolSculpting is generally viewed as a safer, non-invasive type of fat reduction surgery than traditional procedures, such as liposuction. Most people do not feel anything during the procedure, aside from a tugging sensation where the skin is between the device’s two cooling panels.
As the procedure does not involve any cutting, tissue manipulation, or anaesthesia, most people do not need any recovery time and can immediately resume normal activities.
The only noticeable side effects of the procedure tend to be minor and occur only around the area of treatment. Most minor side effects reduce or go away within a few days to weeks after the procedure. It is normal, however, to experience numbness or loss of sensation in the treatment area for around a month.

Our body contouring treatments and sculpting treatments take place in a dedicated suite for your optimal comfort. This has been designed with the patient in mind, ensuring your comfort during and after treatment. At our Liverpool flagship clinic we provide treatment in the Sculpt Suite where you can relax and watch your favourite show during treatment, enjoy a complementary snack, and then take a shower in our en suite bathroom so you can leave the treatment room ready for your day ahead.

When Will I See Results?
You may start to see changes as quickly as 3 weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after 12 weeks. Your body is still flushing fat cells and will continue doing so for up to 4 to 6 months after treatment.

This depends on your personal goals and treatment plan, which will be discussed during your consultation before the treatment.
