What are polynucleotides?
Derived from Salmon and Trout DNA, polynucleotides are designed to activate fibroblasts, improve cell turnover and promote tissue repair. In addition to this they also help to alleviate inflammation and can rebalance melanocyte activity (responsible for skin pigmentation) helping to achieve a more even and refreshed skin tone without adding volume typical of traditional dermal fillers.
How is the treatment administered?
After a full assessment and diagnosis is made, a treatment plan will be made for you tailored to your concerns and goals. We will then prepare you for treatment which consists of cleaning the treatment area thoroughly and numbing the area if appropriate. Our clinicians then use an expertly designed injection technique that uses very fine micro needles to inject Polynucleotides into the targeted areas. In some occasions a small microcannula may be used.
